The Fiber Art of Family Rock

I am a teaching artist who runs Family Rock Farm for a three-fold purpose: to raise healthy food, to create art with my animals' fiber, and to teach these skills. As a fiber artist rostered with the PA Council of Arts for the past 8 years, I've taught students of all ages to succeed with wool and hand-made felt.
My artwork is an ongoing experiment in the use of color, design, and technique. Because I raise my own fiber from Shetland sheep and Angora rabbits, I understand the process from fleece to finished art form, whether we are making handspun yarns for knitting or felted creations from unspun batts.
